Second Emulation

Shawn vs. Five Ciders (and Russell Crowe

Episode 86

Send us a text

What happens when you combine siblings, cinema, and several strong ciders? Our newest episode format puts that question to the test with hilariously unpredictable results.

Sean takes on the challenge of recalling movie trailers after consuming four cans of 8.4% ABV hard cider, while Kylie selects the films and judges his recall accuracy. What unfolds is a fascinating exploration of how alcohol affects memory - with some surprising results. Who knew someone could forget Russell Crowe but perfectly remember a Power Rangers actor?

The game follows a "telephone" format where Sean must reconstruct the plots of three diverse trailers: "Bugonia" (featuring Emma Stone kidnapped by conspiracy theorists), "Wayward" (a dark troubled youth camp show with Toni Collette), and "Nuremberg" (a historical drama about Nazi war trials). His interpretations range from surprisingly accurate to wildly off-base, creating genuinely funny moments as his intoxicated brain attempts to piece together what he's watched.

Beyond the humor, the episode reveals something interesting about memory - how certain details stick while others fade, especially under the influence. Sean's 95% accuracy on one trailer compared to 40% on another demonstrates how different types of content register differently when alcohol is involved.

This is just the beginning of our new "Drunk Trailer Reviews" format. We plan to continue bi-monthly, eventually switching roles so Kylie can experience the challenge of recall while Sean gets to select the trailers. Host Introduction and Episode Format Explanation

Hello and welcome back to Second Ation. I'm gonna thank Emily for giving  the intro for the podcast. I'm Shawn and I'm here with my develop annoying sister, co-host,

rude Kiley. Sorry. And I'm Shawn,

and today we're gonna do something new and different.  I mentioned in prior episodes that we're going to, I'm looking for new content to do, and this is something.

As you can say, it is gonna be very unique. So what we're gonna be doing today is that I have been the likely victim to be drinking while my sister selects random trailers for me to review, and she'll give the actual synopsis of these episodes and we're gonna figure out if I. Hit the mark or not?

Yeah, so one of them is actually a TV show, but it  the trailer was a short, so I was trying to pick ones that were a little pro that might be a little bit more difficult to remember.

We watched three and we're gonna, I'm gonna name the one that I want him to summarize, and then I'll, I'll tell the, the summary of it.     Yes. And we'll see. We'll see if he remembers. He's had quite a few drinks.

Yeah, I've had, I've had quite a few drinks. So he

slurs his words. You know why?

Yeah. So like it's not gonna be like in the order.

And I watched him, she's going to pick the one and I have to recall, so think of it like a game of telephone. I'm gonna have to recall what the name of that, the title and recall. I'll tell you the

title. And then

recall what that is by memory. And if you ask

for a hint as to who's in it, I will tell you who's in it.

And I will the, for this, that  will be the template is that we'll watch the trailers together, either two or three, and then whoever's not drunk will get to pick the order and when the, whatever trailer they want to be discussed first. And then the person who is. Drunk or has been drinking will be able to either recall it or either ask for help or, uh, essentially just like  a way to help them

Yes.

A hint. A hint.  They can.    We've watched the trailers.  The person who's, who has not been drinking will pick the name of the, and say the name of the trailer. They want the person who has been drinking to summarize. Mm-hmm. They can ask for a hint, uh, if they can't remember, because it's not gonna be in the order that it was watched.

And then afterwards I will then tell the person who has not been drinking will tell the summary of the actual trailer slash movie and see if the person was right.  We'll see how it goes. He's had quite a few. He might remember them though. We'll see.

I've had quite a few, few flu. Flu. He's had quite a flu.

Flu, as you can tell, the drinks have been hitting.  I like to dedicate this episode to. Excels here. Imperialism  cider hard.

Ciders. They hard cider. They have very high percentage. And it's like a 9% drink. Yeah. Or higher maybe. Let me see.

It is  it's 8.4% alcohol.

Four per can, by the way, 12 flooring ounces.

Drinking Game Setup and Rules

It,

I've had about four cans already. Yeah. So

we've been watching other things. I've been

making sure that I'm very well prepared for this episode. So, all right,

let's start it off. So the one I want you to, to summarize is Begonia.

Fuck, we watched three trailers. They were All right, boo.

So I'm thinking this is gonna be with, so Begonia the title. So I think it's gonna be with Amber Stone, correct. And. Two, one actor I recognized from  civil War, so with this trailer, oh, tell us

from Civil War

is that  the guy, the actor from Civil War, uh, him and his partner kidnapped MNA Stone because they believe her to be some kind of alien.

And when they kidnap her  they, she, her head. My preface is that she works for a high end.  I'm kind of going on my limb here.  I don't think they specify. They don't

specify, but she works in like a high end, I won't say high end corporate job where she's at the top. I wanna say maybe kind of like her job is like on the par of like in the, with other films like Devil was Prada, where she's essentially at the top and if her missing kind of will send off red flags.

But what they do is they kidnap her. They shave her head because they're afraid that with her hair, she will send a signal to the mothership. Now it, it's kind of like a hostage  hostages when a victim and person of capture type of scenario. There have been films like this in the beginning. But this is gonna be very unique because, um, not only does the captor have, it's not by himself, he has a partner and we don't know how far this delusion will go.

We don't

even know if it's delusion. So don't, I mean, we are led to believe so. Yes. Yeah. We don't

know if the He is

correct. That is what, so based on what

I saw, we don't know how far the rabbit hole goes, but what we're getting is that. Her head, they capture her, her head's Shad. She is for prolific company.

And again, if you're an individual who's captured, you kind of like play along to an extent.  But I know I can recognize Emma Stone  is in this film. Yeah, no, you

were, he's he is pretty spot on. Sorry. There was a bug.   It's actually on a stone. It's, um. Jesse Clemens, who I think is the person he recognized from Civil War.

Mm-hmm. He was married to Kirsten Dun. So he's in it, and I think he was also in Fargo, but he's in it as well. And it is about a CEO who is abducted slash kidnapped by two guys who are very conspiracy theory driven, who believe she is an alien. So they killed her captive and they. Cut off her hair in the trailer, it's shown they cut off her hair because they believe that she uses that to communicate with the aliens.

And then, you know, the whole trailer is showing how, she mentions how she's a high, not even like a high powered person, but high value because she has money and she's in a noticeable, she's a CEO of a prominent company that they're gonna come looking for. So they don't have very long. So I think it's over the course of 48 hours, is that, I say.

But yeah, no, you're pretty  pretty on.

And percentage wives how close. If you were to, if you put up the summary, how close do you think I was to it?

Well, I mean, the summary uses different words, but you were, I would give you like, you were like 95%, you were there, you got all of it. Okay. You remembered who it was.

You even remembered that that other guy was in a, was in another movie. At first I thought you meant Civil war. Like the, like the Avengers. Avengers. And then I realized you meant the one that, that uh, with Kirsten danced, which I think he wasn't

eight 20, it was a eight 20, it was an 8

24 movie, and I think he was in that one.

So yeah, were.  He's got one of those faces where you, he is been in many movies, so you're like, oh, I know this guy, but you just never remember his name, so, exactly.  But he, yes, he was in that film, so that was a good job. Yes. Now this one that we'll do is Wayward, which is not a movie, actually, it's a series, but it's called Wayward.

First Trailer Review: Begonia

Okay. So I'll be honest. None of the actors in this one. I can, I recognize from other films really, but I, but I believe it is a camp counselor type film, almost like a, uh, camp counselor slash therapy session type film where there is a, an actress who.  I like her film. She was in different states of terror, which deals with  multiple personalities and killers.

But she, she's an actor that I, I actually like a lot. She plays a camp counselor  a therapist of sorts of a camp counselor  like a support group or therapy of some sorts, and. I'll be honest, beyond that, I, I, I would like to say either shit happens to the other cam, like a murder of some sorts. I know the cop himself was the Red Power Ranger from SPD.

They show briefly and then he just disappears. But  I believe a murder or like. Something tragic happens where it's like a, um, a support group session. That was

this guy?

Yes.

Oh, he wasn't a power ranger. I didn't know That. Support

group session where the actress from a United States of terror is at the focal point, and I believe she might be manipulating the group to some end.

I don't know. But she's the only one besides the red SPD Ranger actor. Who I know and it's out  it gives the feel of like  a Jason a Friday the 13th, Jason for, he's like Crystal Lake type of vibe where they're just out in the middle of nowhere. And I should know, 'cause I was a camp counselor for other kids at Camp Bost.

I was a  I went for young children though. I went as a sixth grader and I went back as a camp counselor to pay it forward. And again, I

never went so Camp Sitz,

she never went. I have a

grudge to a bone to pick with you.

never got to

go. You never got to go.  I feel like if anything, it's a best experience to go, but this film.

As far as I can tell a

series,

sir, is this series the trailer?

Yeah. Oh, the trailer.

Just say the trailer for the trailer gives off camp. Corrupt camp counselor of like a support group of counselors and doing some mischievous things.

Okay.  So  the show he, he was not completely off. But was a little, he was right.

The actress is Tony Collette. She was in the United States of Terror. She was also in hereditary. I'm surprised you didn't say that. I, I, she was in that, in that movie. She's actually a really good actress, so love to see her. She always usually plays someone weird. So that's not at all surprising.  I'm surprised you didn't bring up the actor from Suits.

He was in it too.

He who

plays, uh, Mike

in Suits. For me, it's like.  I didn't watch suits. Yeah. Me, but, you know, his face. So for my  my, uh, recall ability for like actors, so I have a good recall ability with like, if I go to a place, I'm able to go back without actual like notes or instructions. I'm able to recall based on like place, locations and faces.

But it has to be something that I've seen very, very often. United States of terror, that actress. That show was a long time ago, but I only remember because I caught, I wa it was on I think, believe Showtime.

You watched it? Yes,

but I only caught it at the tone and when the show was actually ending.

Yeah.

So I never got to Lare immerse it.

Second Trailer Review: Wayward

And then she, the actress herself has played  other school roles that I've noticed, but I mainly known her from that show. Which I do have to watch because

honestly, I'm surprised you didn't even say the sixth Sense, because she was in that too and she was in Knives Out.

Was she in

Sixth Sense? She was the mom in sixth Sense, she was his mom.

I, to be honest, I think the only thing that stuck out with me was her role and  United States Terra.

That's okay

because she, she, there's actors that they blend very well if the Oh yeah. She does

a great job.

The movies that they're in. And for like United States of Tara, I think the reason why it stuck out for me is because she has to play five different characters in herself.

It's one of those like, I wanna say, like spotlights for her. That she's not able to blend very well in that role. But other films, I wouldn't say she's not

able to blend, but she's, she's more like, she's, she stands out because she Exactly, she's plays so many people. It's  uh, orphan Black, where Tatiana MAs, I think it's Maslany.

She plays all those different characters and it was like a standout at the time because she did such a great job. They were all so distinct. Uh, anyway, so Tony Collette, fun fact, never, has, never won an Oscar yet. She deserves one. She can get it any day. She's still stunning, but she's in it. The guy from Suits is in it.

The guy from I'm pretty sure was in Glee at one point. Coach Tanaka was in it, and then the guy from Power Rangers, you were right that it is like a camp, but it is not, it's not a, it's not like Camp Wasw anyway. Um, it's not a fun camp. It's essentially a place in a small town. 'cause it's always a small town that.

Is  it is sort of a camp, but I don't even think they would call it a camp because the, it's for the youth, troubled youth. So those, those places that they send troubled youth, you know, like okay, in the middle of Montana or anything like that. Oh, and Maye Martin's in it, I forgot to say she's, excuse me, they are a comedian and they created the show.

But um, it's basically where they send troubled teams is where they go is to this camp. And what happens is Mae Martin's character is moving there with their partner who is now pregnant, who once went to this camp for troubled teens.  When Tony Collette's character has been at the helm, she's not a counselor, but she is like the head of it.

She's the pinnacle of this camp. So she's in charge of everything.  And what ends up happening is like there's a kid, I think they come across. Who seems very unwell and they start digging into it and noticing that the camp is kind of weird. And also kids have gone missing over the, like 19 kids have gone missing, which he didn't even remember that part I the trailer.

He's just like kids in a camp, you know, the trailer did singing camp songs and two kids are trying to escape. They all, I saw that there was kumbaya, to

be honest, it was not

a joyful kumbaya. It was a forceful kumbaya.

I really thought this was like a precursor for Friday the 13th. It was Crystal Lake Camp counselor.

Were just going off the deep end. I was like, pretty soon Jason's gonna pop out and start murdering people. Nope, absolutely not. I did not, to be honest, I had picked that out from the trailer. No, and out from what I

could see from the trailer, I think. That this camp counselor, which would not be uncommon, she's not a camp counselor.

This individual, which would not be uncommon for these types of things that they send kids to, does some type of  quote unquote therapy, like psychotherapy or something that changes how these kids act in a sense, almost like conversion therapy, because there are moments where the kids are, they're, you know, they're enduring these sorts of things, so I'm pretty sure she's putting them through.

Trials and tribulations. Dunno how he got kumbaya. They don't seem happy at all, but they're all there and it, it seems like people support this lady. Either they're scared of her or they're supporting it or they're covering it up. But yeah, it's supposed to be troubled to troubled youth at this place.

They're being forced to go to.  And this person is at the helm and controls everything and these outsiders who once one was, once an insider comes back and says, things are out of, like, things are weird. So, yeah, if I had to say how close you were, uh, what, what's the scale? A hundred. I'm gonna a hundreds,

a max.

So from zero to a hundred,

I'm gonna give you like a 40.

I mean, that's fair enough. Or I out of

a 10, a four and the other one was a nine out a 10 because he, you got the actress and he got, there was a camp. I think he made it sound more jovial than it really is. He completely forgot  that  there was to be almost likely murder.

Mind you, this is like the worst game of telephone because I have to recall what I just watched and that was the first one he watched too. Yeah, and this is the first one I watched and I have to recall. As much information as possible. I think

that it didn't stand out as much as Emma Stones, because Emma Stones is, you ever see something so crazy or experience something so insane that it sticks with you because of how weird it is?

That's what the  Boian movie with Emma Stone when he's like, I cut off your hair so you don't communicate with aliens. We're like  okay. That's kind extreme. Yeah. Like Emma

Stone is like  her catalog of work is almost like. Kirsten Duns when she was younger. 'cause she did interview Vampire.  There's like things you recognize and I think that was like the thing I recognized most was like, oh, she's in it.

Yeah, her, she's in it, but like her hair's gone.

Yeah. And

I'm like, it's not a wig. Like they couldn't, they really shaved

her head.

Yeah. She really did

shave her head. Similar to, um, Natalie Portman and uh, ven Vendetta. Yeah. All right. So he technically has only gotten really one. Right? So let's see if you remember the last one, which I feel like you should, but the last one is Nuremberg.

Okay. So

I feel like this one's an easy one.

It, so this one's gonna be,

I'm blanking out a lot because I'm like, I'm trying to recall. A lot of what I just saw and making sure I don't cross the streams of the information, but

of what you just of what You watched the what I just watched. Yeah.

So I believe for this one, it is going to be a, I'm tell you right now, I distinctly recall one actor who played  Tony Stark's dad.

And the Avengers. Now this film itself is gonna be about the trials  of the Nazi cohort after World War ii. And essentially, I believe this may be a reboot or retelling because  from what I've witnessed is that these are gonna be either the soldiers. The, um, the individuals who played a hand in the atrocities of  of the acts against, like the intern camps  the experiments, essentially just the, I won't say the right hand, but just like the individuals that could have said no, but chose to go along with it.

So not only the soldiers themselves, but an extension of like. Citizens who  turn Aly eye, who are also complicit in those crimes against humanity, while Hitler was again, very prolific during that time.

Yeah, you're  there. Wait, do you remember any of the act, other actors in it?

Uh, yes.

There's another actor who played Zod in the Zach Snyder. Super man. But what else has

he been in?

Man, you really care about? I, I can't, I don't know what other films he's been in. Um, no, wait, no, that's not him. Someone else, God dammit. I was gonna say he was in Justified, which is a FX TV show. No, but that is a different actor who's now in  Indian Earth.

So no, I don't know. Uh,

you can't, you don't know e either of the main actors in it? No,

I don't.

The main that this film has so many of the, so many famous actors in it, the film

is whatever the film is stacked. But again, I can only recall faces and connect them to  what I've previously seen and where I'm recognize it from, from I think he is

just drunk.

'cause, uh, anyway, I'm gonna give you the name like.  Of the film, this person is, is, and let's see if you remember the name of the actor.  Let's start with Gladiator.

I, okay. I recall Gladiator

who, which, who was the actor in Gladiator?

Russell Crow.

Yes, that was Russell Crow.  He's just fat now. Oh my God.

And old. But that was him. He's in this movie. He's great. I could

not recall him

and the other guy. From Is Rami Malik from, um  the Mr. Robot and also a book Twilight, Bohemian and Rhapsody? No. Oh yeah. He wasn't Twilight. That he wasn't in Twilight. You remember that? But you can't remember who he Well, like trying to, do you remember Russell Crow?

Trying to recall the information based on seeing it. The only thing that stuck to me was Zod. Like that's something that good movie  it's not, it's not a good movie. I just

thought you didn't say  Les Mis 'cause he was in that and he's saying terribly. That's a terrible movie he was in.

I would say it's very difficult.

I won't say it's difficult.  It's challenging that I'm trying to recall this and I'm just getting to, I'm hitting a wall.

He's hitting a wall. So, so you were kind of close. He was, or not kind of close. He got parts of it right.  It is about the num Nuremberg, I don't know if I'm saying that word right.

Trials, which if you are unaware of history and or a holocaust nonbeliever, get your shit together. Uh, because it is During, after World War ii, um, there were trials where the basically  allies  held people within Nazi Germany. Um, accountable and they put them on trial, including what the person that Russell Crow is playing, which is one of the more well known, he was Hitler's right hand man.

So you, you forgot this part. It was Hitler's right, right hand man. Um, I don't know if I'm saying his name right, but it's essentially that Herman. It's Herman Wilhelm is, they probably say Wilhelm in there. Because he's German, but, uh, he's basically Hitler's right hand man.  He was at the center of a lot of the atrocities and he gets tried and before they can be tried, there has to be someone who Rami's character comes in to.

Basically he's a psychologist basically to determine if these people are fit to stand trial or if they are in fact quote unquote crazy. Which of course we know they weren't crazy. They had crazy ideas, but they.  They knew right from wrong and they chose to do wrong anyway. So it's like these high officials  pri I would say prisoners war maybe, things like that.

I don't know if they necessarily did it with civilians, like you said.  I wouldn't know about that. I think it was mostly people higher up in the helm who were captured  because those were the people who basically exerted a lot of these plans. You know, like  with the  concentration camps. I feel like it, it,

it extended so like.

These were like, I

think it started up top and then eventually went down to people who had committed crimes. But when you talk about like a civilian who essentially may have ignored something, it's not on the same level as someone who purposefully Right. Went out and did something. So

like the admin person who was there logging the, the reader, you know, how many, you know, Jews were coming into the internment camp.

I felt like. That person is also just as guilty as, yeah.

I wouldn't call them a civilian though. I would call them, but they were like

the militia civilian who, that was their job was doing admin work.

But you might be thinking of, um, I think it's the movie The Reader with Kate Winslet where she goes to trial because her, she was the receptionist and her name was on a lot of the orders or, or things that she signed.

Mm-hmm. Um, that  confirmed and or. Approved, not necessarily approved, but like confirmed and executed some of these horrific things that they did in Nazi Germany. And then a, you come to find out she actually couldn't read it, so she was signing her name on things she couldn't read, so she had no idea what they detailed  but she was still tried for it, so Yeah.

Mm. I would say probably like a six out of 10, like a 60. Uh, you mostly got it right, but it just cracks me up. You couldn't get Russell Crow because Gladiator. We've seen that movie so many, many times, man. I mean, he does look different.

But again, this is like a real test of like telephone where you're pushing your own capacity, brain capacity, along with being drinking to the limit because you're now telling yourself, I have to recall information I just watched and I'm trying to input it together.

I'll tell you right now, I'll tell you right now in that recall, I just, even though we just watched it, I now recognize Russell Crow, but trying to recall it, Russell Crow, because he looked very different. My mind was like, uh, I won't say brain frog, but it was just like latching on to whoever I recognized, and it was more so the after from.

Snyder, like when I try to recall that information. Yeah, that it wasn't as identifiable like Russell quo.  Because Crow, Russell. Crow, because, so here's

a question for you. Name all three of the movie trailers we watched. Fuck.  I gave you one of 'em. I mean, you, I just said one of 'em.

Third Trailer Review: Nuremberg

So the fir, so one of 'em is gonna be then.

Berg Trials.

Nuremberg. Yeah, it's called Nuremberg. So that's, and

now the last two I'm gonna have very difficult trying, uh,

I wanna see if he can recall the longer it goes on, if less, the less his brain.

One of 'em is like, I think the titles called Ballin.

Nope,

I'm gonna call Balogna bna.

I mean, it starts with a B, so he got that part

Balogna and the other one.

I'm gonna guess 'cause I can't recall.  The name of the trailer  I'm just gonna call it  we, we kidnapped Emma Stone.  I'm gonna say we kidnapped Emma Stone.

Well, I'm gonna have to give you a big old zero for that because you did get the one with the B, like it starts with a B, but that's the one that has Emma Stone in it.

It's boa

Oh my God.

And that's the one that had Emma. God, it didn't even get close to the other one. I didn't, with Tony Colette.

Yeah. Like that one is called Wayward. Wayward. Wayward. Oh, I was, you were so far. I wasn't gonna get that one at all.

You, he was not even close. Like

I don't think the trailers you showed showed the name of the films

they did, but that's okay.

They all did Uhhuh, but that's okay. Um, I knew he'd get Nuremberg 'cause that's the last one. And also. If even if he didn't know the movie, we were  it's not a remake like he said, which is why it gave him six out of 10. But it has been something that has been made before into like either a TV show or a movie or in a book.

Like it's something that we've learned in history. So it the recall, it's more easier to recall it because you're like, oh, I remember the Nuremberg learning about the Nuremberg Trials. Yeah. That's

something, that's something that's like in history.

Yeah. Like you can, even if you can't detail all of it, you can be like, oh yes, I remember  even when I talk to people, I can be like, yes, I know that World War I was around 1917 and I know that World War II happened.  It ended in like 1945.

So, 'cause

that's when the allies won. So  I remember things like that 'cause of history.

So with the three that you mentioned, if you had to gimme a percentage point based on like  you showed me the trailer and percentage, like how close.

Was I to getting the summary as composed to like the summary that, you know, you're, I mean on

all of 'em, you got parts of it, right? So what's the one you did the best on was the one with Emma Stone.

So if you wanna recall, if you want to go, go back and like, name the trailer and then based on what I said, how close was I?

Was I 75 8? Like each one?

Yes. So for the first one that we watched, wayward. I am gonna give him a four out of 10 because he thought it was a happy go-lucky camp story. And it's about children who disappeared at a troubling teen youth area. They're clearly undergoing like some type of psychotherapy from, from Tony Collette's character.

So yeah, that was way off. He got parts,

but he,

I got parts, but it was a little too joyful. And then, um, the second one was boa, which he got the most right. So the first one was like, I'd say 40%. The Begonia is 90, 95%.  You got everything He knew it was

except the tr. Except the name. Except the

name. But you knew the, he knew about Emma Stone.

He knew the guy, didn't know the name, but he knew the guy was in the Civil War, was closer with that than he was with Russell Crow. Uh, and then he knew it was about two people who believe in conspiracies, who think that Emma Stone is an alien and they kidnapper. So that's pretty much the gist of the whole movie too.

So he got that one. I would say 95%. And then Nuremberg, I would say 60%, well, maybe more like 70, because it You got that it was World War ii, that it was trials of people who like participated. But I would say you missed that it was high ranking officials like, like, uh, Herman or whatever his name is, Wilham, the right hand man, and that it was a psychiatrist who was coming into.

Evaluate them to make sure they were fit to stay in trial for their war crimes, essentially. And he couldn't remember freaking Russell Crow.

And to my defense,

he does look different, but

They look different. But a lot of the trailers sometimes can be teasers. The one thing that I've known for the time I've been around is that what we consider to be trailers, sometimes they're teasers, so like.

Yeah, I would say the we to keep that in mind, they're not full trailers, but they also, there's a problem lately where they put out like a full trailer and it tells you the whole movie. So

Exactly. Which I'm, so I,

a teaser  than a, which I, I, I missed  the trailer. Like if you guys could go back and wash the trailers like in the early two thousands, you would much more appreciate because Boomer, because they allowed for like that, the magic of like.

I wanna say mysterious  not mysterious, but almost like

There was also, it was before the internet was

They created, they, they allow, so

you couldn't go to your phone and immediately look up what the movie is about. You kind of had to let your imagination run what? Correct.

And they created the, they ended up building the hype.

So there was no content creators who would, you know, review the movies and then  shoot their own like reviews and kind of like.  Create that height for it is that you washed the trailer back in the day and everything was organic. Yeah. So that was the thing.

It allowed for more interest, but here we are.

Mm-hmm. Um, at the end of this, we will try to do it again and see who comes out on top. Yes. I feel like I picked a third easy one though. Just. You still got two, mostly two out of three rides. So I would say you get like a passing grade. You get like a C.

So for this, uh, this is our, you giving you a CI get a C.

So for this we are going to, you know, it's the first attempt of doing drunk trailer reviews. I think how we can decide will probably be on rock, paper, scissors, or depending like who can come up with good trailers. You know, would like to be the person who's sober and the person who's drunk.

We'll see.

Episode Wrap-up and Future Plans

Maybe it'll, we'll swap it around next time. We'll swap it around. My recall is,

and  this is  these episodes are kind of be like we, yes, I've been drinking at least five hard ciders. He's a little turned, I'm a little turned. And I feel like these type of episodes that we're gonna do. I'm haven't determined how frequently we will have 'em throughout the month.

I think that maybe two a month will be like the appropriate time, appropriate amount. Yeah, sure. Um, if you guys enjoy 'em, we might do more. And these are gonna be maybe uploaded on a Saturday. So as we're done with this, we will get to the books of like editing it and, um  seeing how people. May, uh, you know, take it.

So, yep. It was the first try Again, my recall while I'm drunk is maybe around 60%. He is a C

he's carrying a C average. I trying, I'm a CAC average. We'll see what happens when it comes around  to me, yes. I don't know. Depends on the movie trailers. I think I'm gonna pick harder ones for you the next time.

And I, and I think that's a good thing that like. The, so the one who gets to pick the trailers, they have free range and they're not limited to current, you know, movies. They can be old or maybe ones that are also coming out. So current ones are future ones, so that way you're not limited, so you have a lot of room to play with.

So we typically are gonna start with mandatory two, but a third one, if you feel like you want to toss, like. You know, mix it up. A third one is gonna be  acceptable.

I think it should be three. So that way to see, give someone the chance to do two out of three.

Okay. Based on my, that's something we can, based on my sister, we will do three.

So it allows you to average out.  But again, the person who picks the trailers is not free range. So

whoever gets perfect, three for three. 10 out of 10 each time they should get like a trophy.

That'd be nice. I feel like they, I feel like if we're doing these, I feel like, yeah, you should have a trophy. If you can recall.

I'm gonna get a Dundee like  we'll think of something, we'll, we'll work and we'll think of something like if you're able to nail all three trailers perfectly and your summary is like, we'll say. The percentage wise, maybe 95 to a hundred. If you get 95% on your summary to like to the person who has to the non sober person recall, like gives a summary.

If it's close to 95%, I feel like you should have something. Because again, right now, I will admit it's taken a lot of brain power. It's AER just to focus on. What's happening right now. Yes. Yes. And the trailers that we just watched. Yeah. And so,

and on that note, I think it's time.

Yes. I think it's time to  call it and you know.

Do you have any last words?

I don't have any last words right now. 'cause this is a different type of recording except for. You couldn't recall who Russell Crow was, but you could recall the guy from Power Rangers.

Again, you don't, that's on me. No, that's, that's on you. That's on me. That's on me. You're gonna take that one to the chest.

I will take that one to the chest, and again, we'll decide who is the Vic, who's the victim for the next time. Again, we'll catch you guys in the next episode.

This has been Kiley,

and this has been Shawn. Signing off. Bye

bye

bye. And then we'll pass it to Emily, who will give the end closing episode. All right, catch you guys the next one.

Bye.
