I'd like to thank Emily for that intro, and always, it's always on point, and I'd like to welcome everyone back, new and current listeners, to this episode of the podcast, and, as  the leaves are turning brown rather than falling, and we have transitioned from summer to now fall.  It is that time for anime and what I mean,  crunchy roll lineup for fall 2024 has dropped and we are going to talk about it  mainly me, but give you my thoughts, my opinions  on   what anime is out there and for you if there's anything that you want to.

Watch or pick up. Now's the time. If you've been You know, looking for some good anime to watch. And you've already gone through  solo leveling and you need a quick fix. Then  this is a time  to gear up your watch list and add some new anime to it. All right. So let's get into it.  So  Crunchyroll's fall lineup is actually   coming out pretty strong in my opinion.

Now,  the details of the. of their lineup is going to be in the podcast episode description. Now, by the time this episode drops,  you'll already be into maybe mid of some of the anime's episodes by this point, but this episode, they're just going to give you  like a sample of   what's out there and my opinion on that.

So  first up.  We're going to start off with simulcast. What's new to Crunchyroll that's going to be simulcast this season. And starting off strong  is a new anime,  Dragon Ball Daima. Now this takes place.  After the boo saga, which is going to be very interesting.  I'm interested if you yourself have  watch Dragon Ball super and you're just    waiting for some kind of like any sustenance of Dragon Ball related content besides  sparking zero, then this is going to you know give you that fix of Dragon Ball  Coming up right after is another new anime which I don't know have much information on other than  the characters are   into supernatural and conspiracies and one of them gets possessed.

I'm talking about Dan Da Dan. Weird name, but it's It  reminds me of Mob Psycho, so if you  like that type of   storytelling and Conn. Over the top and you've seen mob cycle 100 Then this is going to be that anime It looks very interesting  Next coming up. We're actually in the beginning  blulock season two So this is a soccer type anime  For those who probably watch sport animes,  just anything that's not like fantasy,   action and things of that nature that's sports related.

This is going to be on that same realm where everything  they could be talking. So when it comes out to them, them playing the sport   though  it'll be high intense, high animation in that regard.   Blue Locke season 2 is a Soccer Anime for those who don't know I myself Haven't watched the first season But I'm definitely gonna watch the first season And get caught up with season two Cuz I've really only heard people rave about Blue Locke Next is Tower of the god season two Now this I believe was a Webtoon comic and You The first season was out.

Again, lots of raves about this. This, I believe, is like a fighting type tournament anime  and lots of crazy things happen. I've only seen other content creators do reviews of this  but I am interested to seeing   what this season has in store. So this is another that I'll probably be watching a little bit later.

Another one is Acrotrip.  Not too much known about this.   It is part of their simulcast lineup  which will be   later this month.  Coming after that is another Journey to the West. Now, this is another take on  a prior anime series called Journey to the West.   So for those who are unfamiliar   this is going to probably deal with  the Monkey King   lots of animes.

So you are inspired by this. Dragon Ball Z is one popular anime that's     pulled a lot of inspiration from Journey to the West and  in that regard.     I'm   curious if this is just going to be a remake to the original anime or cartoon  by the same name.  Next is Blue Exorcist Season 3 Beyond the Snow Saga.

For those who don't know, Blue Exorcist is a   I want to say an OG type of anime.  It's not as old as Dragon Ball, but it's still up there. It has my favorite voice actor, Johnny Bosch   in  reprising his role. And  we had just had season two prior. So I'm really excited about this.   Again, I have to re watch, maybe the last season just to get caught up because, I wasn't expecting for, Blue Exorcist    the next season to drop.

So that caught me off guard.    We're just gonna be churning along. Next is Demon Lord  2099.  And a little bit about this anime, it's   essentially a Demon Lord. Lord of course gets reincarnated.   But not to his ton, so it's actually not, he's not brought back in the same era that he died in. So he's brought back into the year of  2099.

Everything's changed. So this is just him being reborn and then wanting to take over the world, but knowing that time has essentially passed him by and he's like now in the future. So that can be an interesting anime to watch. I'm pretty much  interested in that because I it does remind me of overlord a bit.

So that's one I'm Looking to give a shot at  next is Let grieving souls retire. So this is not quite an isekai, but essentially just like a  it reminds me of   Another anime, which is  similar.  It has, it po  it feels like it pulled inspiration from solo leveling.   If you watch it, you might see some familiarities and like in the fantasy of this show, but essentially, it's a adventuring group or a guy for an adventuring group who's not that strong, who is part of this famous party.

And   he's very nonchalant about how everything what he does. It just seems like everything works out for him, even though he doesn't try as much. So I guess you can say he's like the lazy character of this anime, of the show.  This is one that I'm  interested in watching. It does have that trope, though, of the  Kind of obsessed female character  b character who's   drawn or obsessed   with the mc, which is stands our main character.

So this is one that if you're looking  for some fantasy, this is it. Next one is gonna be Veroni Ken.  Kyoto Arc. I'm   nice. I'm  excited that they're continuing their remake or the reimagine of Veroni Ken,   because it was an anime,   back in the day that I watched Heavily Adult Swim, and for those who don't know, it also goes by another name, samurai X.

So I'm glad that they're  continuing with the art, with the anime 'cause it does deserve some love.   It's considered a old school anime   in my opinion.  Next up is going to be returning anime. So anime that   been going on that either has a season and   they're just going to continue it  going forward.

So  there are a few enemies like  that are ongoing, but  this kind of shocked me because I thought. This particular anime was done for, and that is going to be  Gun Gow Online. For those who don't know, this is actually an  SAO adjacent  anime. It's actually in the same realm of SAO, or Sword Art Online, for those who don't know.

But this is  on a different game  world.   So with different characters   that are part of it. So I thought the one like gun girl online was going to get one shot and that was it. That there was no one who's going to be interested in it.  But it's essentially  fantasy world with guns.  So pretty excited.

Next one up is blue lock season two.    The hype around season one drove  for them to put in season two.  Again, Blue Exorcist,   Beyond the Snow saga. That was one that was a    continuation.  Now, this one actually  surprised me, because   I also assumed that it was just going to be a one shot animation and that was it.

The anime is called,  as a reincarnated noble, I will use my skills to rise in the world.  And the reason why I thought that is that  From manga to anime, you have to go through a lot of, you have to  cut a lot of stuff out and keep the important parts. With anime, you  go through  several arcs based on what's narratively important for that anime.

I assume  the first season, which went through a lot,   like several chapters of the manga and it just be done But apparently not they picked it up for a season 2 and  it's going strong So it might not be as popular But you never know some anime out there that are May at first glance not be your cup of tea  May have a huge fan base behind it.

You just never know with animes nowadays because you know  There's just animes of all kinds that suit everyone's  You know, preference, which is   which is why I can  I like anime.  Next up is, I feel like this particular anime is almost   like the Simpsons, it just keeps  going and there's probably not going to be an end Mind you this anime was around when I was a youngin or a youngster You know in high school It was on Adult Swim and now it just keeps going and I come to the realization that the time I pass away You know this anime will still be going on And that is One Piece.

One Piece is  returning.  For those who don't know, this anime is just  chugging along. And I'm sure I might have upset some One Piece  fans out there. But,   Good, because this anime has a thousand plus episodes and I'm  excited that they're going to remake it with new animation and it's going to be a kai version and for those who don't know means that they're going to redo the anime and take out all the filler anything that's not  pertaining to the story line.

Those episodes are gone.   You guys might go from a thousand episodes to maybe 300 and that might be broken down into seasons. Who knows?    Those are my opinion. I'm not sure what I'm talking about when it comes to one piece and frankly, it doesn't really matter.  But with that   Moving on to our next one,  which is  I'm  I was  shocked that,  actually more so surprised that this one flew under the radar because I didn't see any advertisement for it   any news about it  it getting a third season.

This is Re Zero, Starting a Life in Another World,  Season 3. And for those who don't know, this is  like  It's very dark. It's not Happy at all. It is a Isekai, but it doesn't play on the same tropes as any other isekai character  This one when I first watched the first season.  I was pretty Stoked about it because I was interested  and I got into this Anime based on watching other content, creating or viewing it on youtube but i would say this one is pretty good.

It is   dark in a sense It's also kind of gory in the sense that it's  not gonna pull any punches and I think you know the  That's what I like about it. It's  like in the same realm of   animes like Overlord, where it's like, there is that not dark goriness to it, but it plays itself very sophisticated, which I am very much   really,   really interested in and I feel like it's a good palette cleanser from your typical  Happy go lucky type animes.   I will say Caution that you know If it's    not your cup of tea probably don't watch Just because  it can be gory  It gets pretty intense   For this particular anime.

Now  moving on to what I'm  dubbed my death note. And  for those who don't know,  my death note are animes that I've you know, Started from a previous seasonal lineup picked up. I looked interesting and  proceed to watch and just fizzled out and never went back to again.   Oddly enough, I don't actually have any animes to put in my death note this time around.

I know, which is a huge shocker because I like to pick up animes or add new animes for me to watch  per season lineup. And anything that doesn't make the grade   I'll put here. Which is Interesting because summer's lineup was actually pretty good which you know Which is not surprising, but it's also surprised me because I there wasn't an anime that I didn't finish  that would need to be end up  on my or end up in my death note  Which I take that as an achievement Maybe achievement  For me, but also for Crunchyroll  for actually having a good lineup that just isn't weak or  disappointing   and   I think that has to contribute to solo leveling.

I think   solo leveling  set a standard  for Anime that's coming out and we're just coming off of  the Demon Slayer the Hasura arc, so I think because of that   there wasn't really anything to be like I need to you know End you right now type of anime that would end up in my death note.

So I can say that I'm not As anime fans, we have been eating very good when it comes to anime that's been coming out. Now, I'm not saying that there aren't  the  I'm not saying that there won't be any  animes that will end up on the Death Note. Just saying that as of right now  That what we've been given has been great that I don't have to  make that choice  now moving on one  moving on to what I consider to be    like my   I guess you could say my fantasy lineup is going to be My watchlist.

So these are animes that I've  picked over for this fall lineup that I'm going to watch this   for this fall.  Now, for those of you who don't know  I utilize Crunchyroll.  And within Crunchyroll, you can  add animes to your watchlist, but you can also create tailored watchlists for  different genres, different seasons, what have you.

You can create your own collection, so you don't actually have to add an anime to your main watchlist, you could just have it a tailored one. And so that's what I've done. I've put anime.  And create like a tailored watch list for Fall. And so those animes are going to be,   Re Zero, Starting Another Life In Another World,  Your Midservant,  Let The Grieving Souls Retire, Blue Exorcist Beyond The Snow Saga,  Blue Lock Season 2,  After I Watch Season 1,  Dan Da Dan  Because I'm interested in seeing how this anime plays out because they have a unique name And I think that's what just caught my eye was the name itself is just unique that you   have to say it slowly or if you say it quickly you're  gonna mess up  And then the next one is going to be the most notorious talker runs the world's greatest clan.

This one,    gives me that feel of Overlord.  Just based on the trailer that I saw and the notes, I feel like this one is going to  be like that same type of aesthetic  that I'm seeking for to get my, like my Overlord type of fix.  And so those are the animes that I've picked to have on my watch list as of  right now.

That doesn't mean   that's it. That just means that as the season   progresses and they add more to their lineup for fall, I might end up adding more to that list.  Actually, you know what?  I'm gonna add Demon Lord 2099 because  that one  was piqued my interest. I saw it, I even saw the trailer for it, and I feel like that is one that I should probably watch  just to see if it makes the grade.

You're hearing it now, I'm adding  Demon Lord 2099 Demon Lord  2099 to my watch list for this fall season and  actually  I'm probably going to add another one. I will add also Gun Girl Online since I did watch the first season. I'm actually interested in seeing how the second season is going to  stack up.

Gun Girl Online and Demon Lord 2099 will be ones I'll add  as of this episode. Again, could also change. I might add more, but for now. As of right now, those are the two animes that I pick right now that will be added to my watchlist.  Alright    thank you for  new and current listeners for listening to this episode and listening to me talk about  Crunchyroll and their lineup of anime.

I know that not everyone may have access to Crunchyroll. They might use Hive Dive. You might have other resources on how to watch anime.  Just comes to the bigger picture that we are all fans of anime in general  And I myself am a huge fan in the episode description I'm also going to put down a app that I use  My anime watchlist which is going to show  for those who want to view it  the podcasts  what we're currently watching, what we have watched  and see our watchlist with Overall, so you can see what we're currently watching and we'll keep that up today And if you like to provide any recommendations Of what an anime that you like You can always hit up hit us up on our socials which are going to be in the podcast description Or also, you know If you find us on Anime Watchlist, hit us up there as well.

And we're also going to be doing something a little different.   We do have a  Twitch gaming channel. It's under a different name, but you'll be able to find that in the podcast.  One link in the podcast episode. So if you click on that, you'll see  the YouTube channel and the Twitch channel.

We also like to do gaming reviews, which are   as of right now, just slowly starting our first game that we're doing a kind of like   a let's play type of  content is Final Fantasy Rebirth, which is the first game  we tested out.  Star Wars the fallen  order the sequel to that game. So we tested out  with our system on that game.

So you'll see on our YouTube, the YouTube channel that the VODs for that. We haven't gotten a system down of how we're going to  get that working. We are testing it, but  Final Fantasy Rebirth is the game that we're  doing a let's play, which is no,  no talking, just gameplay.  We stream it from a console.

You can interact with us online through Twitch,  and it's just. Us playing it. We're also going to try to make the stream much more  professional just so it's not just bland.  Again, this is something that we're going to do.  It won't be as frequent, but we're thinking about maybe doing a schedule. So you hear it first now, announcements that  We are going to look into maybe doing some  schedules  probably  when we're live for gaming and maybe  a  update of what episodes are coming out.

We're still working the details and also we're looking into maybe having  some new content. That's in the works. So  again, those are the few announcements and thank you guys for listening new and current listeners and I'll catch you in the next one. All right, Emily, take it away..
